Volunteer Vacancies

Volunteers form the backbone of many of our communities and such experiences can be hugely rewarding. Maybe it is something you are interested in. Being a volunteer does require enthusiasm and perseverance. Many volunteers come from abroad and Have a look at Residential Volunteering Opportunities in one of our community households.

Male and Female Volunteers.

We are always looking for motivated, energetic and responsible volunteers interested in joining our life sharing community to live and work alongside adults with special needs.

You will join a vibrant team of about 3 young adults volunteers from different countries. The role involves:

  • Living in a household in the community together with adults with special needs
  • Supporting them in their day to day needs and work life.

Full training and induction into the role will be provided as well as mandatory external training. Reflective supervision is provided on a one to one basis at regular intervals.


This role would best suit empathetic, caring and responsible people with a strong sense of commitment. Good English is essential and preference is given to those who can commit for the full year. A keen interest in adults with special needs is required. An interest in social care, art, music, gardening, homemaking or a specific craft is an advantage.

The role involves living in a household in the community together with adults with special needs, supporting them in their day to day needs and work life. 3 Volunteer Care Assistants From 01 Sep 2020

Camphill Dingle is looking for enthusiastic, motivated and responsible volunteers with an interest in Socialcare work and Social Pedagogic activities, also experience in Crafts, Music, organic farm and garden work and outdoor activities will add a great benefit to our Residential and Day Service.

 

Accommodation is sharing a small house with other volunteers and you will be volunteering 40 hours/week not more than 12 hours a day at different times during the days and evenings in Camphill Dingle Residential and Day Service.

2 Junior cowworker From 01 Oct 2020

We are interested to hear from enthusiastic young men and women who would like to spend a year sharing our community life in a small town near Kilkenny. Volunteers will join a house community supporting adults with a variey of needs. Some of those we support have high needs, including physical / intimate care and constant supervision. Others live in their own accommondation and need friends visiting regularly to support them as they manage their own lives. Our life is challenging for all, and very rewarding for those who engage and participate fully. Good English is essential, and it helps if you bring energy, initiative and humour! Our starting dates are flexible - in your application please answer these two additional questions. 1: when are you free to start? 2: how long do you wish to stay?


Induction and certified training will be provided as required by regulations.
