Camphill Communities of Ireland has been granted leave to seek a judicial review of a Garda Siochána search of Camphill’s premises in Carrick-on-Suir and seizure of documentation there on 4 December last.

Camphill has also been granted an interim/interlocutary injunction on the Gardaí to prevent them from interrogating, searching or otherwise accessing any of Camphill’s documentation from Carrick-on-Suir pending further order of the High Court.

Because the issues in this case are before the courts, it would not be appropriate for Camphill to make any comment on them at this time.
